As a fundraiser for BETA we will be selling Kona Ice next Friday, May 8th from 1:30 - 2:30. All pre-sales will be due by Thursday, May 7th. Students can still pay for their Kona Ice on the day of for the same price of $4 a cup. Contact the office if you have any questions.

I would highly encourage any parent to come to our parent engagement series featuring Josh Varner and his talk about the effects of technology and social media on a students mental health. I have heard him speak over the topic and he provides very good information that would benefit all parents. And there is a free meal provided!

This flier is for our Kindergarten through 8th-grade summer school. We will have summer school for our high school students, but this incentivized summer school option described in the flier is for elementary and middle school students.

Summer school enrollment forms will be sent home with OMS students today!

We encourage any current 5th graders and their parents to come to the MS from 5 - 6 on Monday afternoon for information about the middle school. We look forward to having them all in our building next year!

ATTENTION 5th-grade parents/guardians of students at OES and GES. Next week, on Monday, April 13th, OMS will host their "Kickoff" informational meeting for all incoming 6th graders next year. This will take place from 5pm - 6pm in the Owensville Middle School commons. Please park in the back parking lot and enter through the back door.

Head over to the OHS TV Studio YouTube Channel with the link below to check out the OMS Monthly Newscast. Every month, our middle school student council officers meet to film the newscast. In the newscast, they recognize both their classmates and staff members. You will see students of the month, staff of the month, students with perfect attendance, OMS sports updates, menus, and even some interviews of students and staff members.

Dutchmen Learning Highlight

Congratulations to 8th-Grade student Roman Crowe for his short story "Spine Shivers: Red Snow" being selected for publication in the 'Annual Showcase' publication through Young Writers. His short story is a mystery thriller about a group of students going on a hike in western Montana.
