Congratulations to OMS 8th-Grade student athlete Ambrosiah Salamone for winning the State Championship in the Girls Pole Vault at the Unofficial Middle School State Track Meet this past weekend. With her pole vault of 9'3'', she also broke the OMS school record in the pole vault previously held by Katie Candrl at 8'9''. Way to go, Ambrosiah!

OHS sculpture class did a fantastic job collaborating with our elementary artists to recreate their monster drawing designs in 3D!
GES and OES (k-2) designed their fun monsters, and OHS artists got to pick from a sea of monster drawings in the studio.
The big artists got to deliver them in person to the little artists, and visit a bit.
For more photos and information, be sure to check out 'Mrs. Bayless' Art Class' Facebook page!

Last Friday, 26 of our OHS Troubadours members traveled to Mizzou to perform their solos and/or small ensemble songs for a judge at the state level. We had 12 total events that qualified for state out of the original 17, and the results are below. Way to go OHS Troubadours! This flier is for our Kindergarten through 8th-grade summer school. We will have summer school for our high school students, but this incentivized summer school option described in the flier is for elementary and middle school students.
Summer school forms were sent home, but if you need another one you can contact OES, GES, or OMS main offices.

Welcome to team GCR2!

Excitement is in the air at GES as our students witness chicks hatching right before their eyes! 🐣 This hands-on experience brings learning to life, allowing students to explore science in a meaningful, real-world way. Through project-based learning, they are not only observing the life cycle but also asking questions, making predictions, and building a deeper understanding of responsibility and care. Moments like these show how powerful authentic learning experiences can be in sparking curiosity and creating lasting connections to the world around us.

Join us in celebrating our GCR2 drivers on Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Thank you for your dedication and for safely transporting our students to and from school each day. We appreciate all that you do!
Welcome to the GCR2 team!

Good luck to our students competing in Special Olympics today! OMS had a send-off this morning with our school SRO officer, Paul Baldwin, giving them a police escort!
