Tonight is the final winter sports live broadcast of the year! Come out to the OHS Gym as the Dutchgirls Basketball team finishes their regular season schedule against the North County Lady Raiders for Senior Night. If you can't make it to the gym, tune in to the free OHS TV Studio Broadcast using the link below. The broadcast will begin around 5:30pm for the start of the JV Girls Basketball game.

Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Staci Johnson, applied for and was awarded the 'COPS Safety Grant' for the district that covers half the cost of a new bus camera system going in all of our school buses.
The Gasconade County R2 Technology Director, Nicole Grannemann, stated, "We chose Verkada cameras for our buses because they are user-friendly for navigating live and historical video. Also, we already use Verkada cameras throughout all of our buildings." The cameras allow administrators to remote live into a school bus at any time during their route to see the live camera feed if there should be any issue. In addition, the cameras will store a backup of routes for a period of time in case footage needs to be looked back on.
Our tech team has been working diligently to get these new cameras and systems installed to help keep our students safe. Each bus will have 3 cameras. One is installed and mounted in the front, middle, and back of the bus.

Members of OHS Drama Club took a field trip today to watch the East Central College performance of "The Wizard of Oz". Our very own Theatre and Drama teacher, Adrienne Gonzalez, was the Wicked Witch of the West! The students enjoyed seeing their teacher and Drama Club advisor perform. OHS alumni Samuel Nicks, Shania Wilson, and CJ Satterfield were also cast in this production.
